The Kentucky Wildcats - Louisville Cardinals rivalry is one of the best in college basketball, and Quade Green is fully embracing it.
Following UK’s win over the Missouri Tigers, Maggie Davis of KSR interviewed Green, who was wearing a “Louisville Doesn’t Exist” shirt.
What makes this shot even more notable is it came in the same week Louisville was forced to vacate wins from the 2011-12 through 2014-15 seasons, which includes a vacation of the 2013 NCAA Championship banner.
So, in theory, Louisville really didn’t exist for those four seasons, so Green is just speaking truth rather than talking trash.
This isn’t the first time Green has mentioned Louisville in a postgame interview. Earlier this season when UK beat Virginia Tech, Green said his Christmas present to the Big Blue Nation would be a wn over Louisville.
Green’s word proved prophetic, as UK crushed Louisville en route to a 90-61 victory, one of the biggest beatdowns in the history of the rivalry.
