Collin Sexton may have just saved the season of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
With his team trailing by one with 4.4 seconds, Sexton drove the length of the court and hit a floater as time expired to give his team a 71-70 win over the Texas A&M Aggies.
It capped off a wild final two minutes that saw both teams hitting clutch shot after clutch shot. TJ Starks had just hit a three to give A&M a 1-point lead, but it was Sexton who made the final shot:

The win will likely push Bama onto the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, as they were among the first four teams out of the Big Dance in most bracketologies.
The Aggies entered the day as an RPI top 25 team, so this win will be a Quadrant 1 victory for Bama, and it should be enough to have them dancing this Sunday.
Bama will now face the Auburn Tigers in Friday’s quarterfinal action.
