After reviewing the scrimmage, Mark Stoops had quite a few things to say about the quarterbacks, receivers, and defense after reviewing the scrimmage. I had never heard the term "bad eyes" before, but it’s talked about in here.

  • Here’s a bizarre argument for you — the relatively low cost of attending the UK could become a recruiting disadvantage for the Wildcats in the "full cost of attendance" world, because the cost of attending other schools is so much higher.

At Louisville, meanwhile, the dagger is pointed at opponents. At $5,202, U of L’s cost-of-living adjustment is the highest in the Atlantic Coast Conference and more than twice that of nine league members.

So comes now the bizarre argument that UK will have to somehow raise it’s calculated cost of attendance for everyone in order to recruit better? Insane.

This is almost certainly due to a flaw in the formula used. I really doubt that the cost of attending U of L is $2000 higher than UK, tuition excluded. This looks like a loophole and a sham driven by federal purse strings, to me.

  • Mark Stoops likes the progress he’s seen from Patrick Towles and Stanley "Boom" Williams.
