Kentucky is the second-most miserable state in the union. I blame the fact that college basketball season only lasts for six months. If it lasted the whole year, I’ll bet we’d be the happiest.

Complacency is always an enemy when you go on a long winning streak. Coach Cal is a master at fighting it, and he needs to be.
-
Heh. The "how to’s" on how to beat Kentucky are not working. That’s because teams aren’t good enough to sustain what it takes, which is lights-out shooting (Ole Miss), a cold UK (TAMU), or a big, talented team having a good day at home (LSU).

Latest mock draft has four Wildcats in the first round. Apparently, Draft Express thinks Aaron Harrison would not be drafted — at all.

North Carolina and Duke played again last night, and it was a good one. I caught the end of regulation, and UNC’s lack of defense ultimately cost them the game.
I find it hard to watch games like this after watching Kentucky. Seeing a guy like Jones fly unimpeded to the rim is something that just doesn’t happen against UK, and I find myself screaming at guys for playing matador defense and keeping their hands down on the perimeter.
-
Duke’s win over North Carolina "Bigger than the game of basketball?" Who the hell edits these headlines, anyway? Look, I get the nice moment in memoriam of Dean Smith, but could we please dispense with the hyperbole? I guess that’s asking too much. Now I’ll have to write something about Kentucky transcending … something … just to restore proper balance to the universe.

16 timepieces cooler than Apple Watch. Yeah, but the Apple Watch is something almost everyone can afford to buy. Myself, I’ll stick to my more conventional Bertolucci, Gucci, and Mallard. I do like the Jazz age watch, but I’m afraid it’s well beyond my means.
