Clay Travis, the flame-throwing "I’m so much funnier than you" former Vandy-educated lawyer-cum-journalist has run smack into the stone wall of his own conviction, and it was driven into his face by the object of his derision:
This is the perfect response to Travis, and goes to demonstrate the abject vapidity of Travis’ prediction. Travis, back when he made this comment, undoubtedly saw in Cousins the kind of young player who would be consumed by the temptations of the NBA and all the money that got thrown at him, do something rash, and wind up in jail.
The problem is, you make those kinds of assumptions without knowing a person, and this is exactly what you get. Congrats to Cousins for reminding Travis that he was, is, and probably (note the equivocation; engraving anything in stone is a bad idea, as Travis could tell you) always will be a douchebag, no matter what happens to Boogie.
