Kentucky football has released their depth chart, which you can see here. In case you missed it, please take a look at Will’s analysis of the depth chart as well.

Whoever follows John Calipari as coach of Kentucky will have the toughest job in the history of college basketball — next to Gene Bartow, that is.

Somebody asked this question earlier: When was the last time a QB made it through the whole season? Andre’ Woodson — and he made it through two. Mike Hartline would have done it except for being suspended for the BBVA Compass Bowl back in 2011
-
Kentucky football season ticket sales at 40,600. That’s pretty darn good.
-
Darian Miller, one of the leaders on the offensive line, will be suspended for the UT Martin game, as will Rashad Cunningham.
-
Damien Harris, top running back for 2015 and UK’s top 2015 target, has scheduled an official visit for Ohio State for the Buckeyes’ game against Virginia Tech.
-
True freshmen on UK’s 2-deep. There’s quite a few, and I like the ones that are there.

Roy Exum thinks Mark Stoops needs a lot more time and "many, many more thoroughbreds" before they win.

Saginaw, Michigan’s Eric Davis, the #39 ranked 2014 shooting guard, is still waiting on a Kentucky offer. This guy has a nice pace to his game. He’s not an amazing athlete and is slightly undersized for his position, but if you watch him, Doron Lamb will come immediately to mind. His game looks a lot like Lamb, and he finishes at the rim with either hand.
He’s never going to be a Malik Newman type of electric shooting guard, but he’s a nice piece to any team’s puzzle, and I think he would fit in at Kentucky in the same way that Tyler Ulis does.
Other Kentucky sports
- Kentucky has hired a new assistant baseball coach — Rick Eckstein. He’s recently been the hitting coach for the Washington Nationals.

A lot has been said about Arizona’s starting five this season, but a big question is, where will Arizona go for go-to scoring?

2015 forward drowns in kayaking accident. Years ago, some of my best friends went on a kayaking trip at the wrong time of year. The river was way too high, and they lost one of the people on the trip. If you love the sport, please kayak with care and good sense.

Brave Southern Cal cornerback injures himself while saving his nephew from drowning. He did a courageous thing, and hopefully will be okay soon.

As the lede says, it might just be mean to laugh at this. I couldn’t help it, though.

Extended warranties may not save you money. I have found, on balance, that they do not. It is that one-off lemon that animates this particular product.

Are people happy to live on less money after they retire? More so than you might think.
