Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and lest I be unable to say it then, let me wish all of you at A Sea of Blue, and in the Big Blue Nation, the happiest, most memorable Thanksgiving ever.
Here are some Thanksgiving table-setting tips, courtesy of the New York Times.
Tweet of the Morning
Mark Stoops just wants the win. Doesn't care who it's against. As for the #BBN… It's a different story. #BeatLouisville

Too right.

Governor’s Cup primer. Not that we need one, but it’s a good article.

Football earns honorable mention AFCA Academic Achivement Award. That’s simply outstanding news.

Anonymous Eagle writes about the Kentucky game this Sunday against the Providence Friars.
-
SB Nation looks to NBA 2K15 for answers about whether or not they’d beat the Philadelphia 76ers. Meh. I wish this meme would just die.

Stadium Sports news says that 2015 recruit Thomas Bryant of Huntington Prep took a shot at Coach Cal. Here’s what she said:
"You have to give kudos to the man (Calipari) for being able to recruit like that," Linda said. "But I don’t think that’s the right place for my son. He’s a young man who is still learning the game. He needs to be focused on that, not worrying which platoon he is on."
I guess you can call that a “shot,” but the fact of the matter is this: Calipari is not recruiting Bryant as far as I can tell. He has no offer (yet) from UK, and I rather doubt he will get one. UK isn’t for everybody, and if his mother doesn’t think he should go to UK, assuming he would get an offer, then he shouldn’t. When there are players knocking down the door to get here, you can be pretty selective.

Calipari guarding against “buzz” surrounding his team. Good luck with that, coach.
Other Kentucky sports
- UK Hoops to participate in the Paradise Jam. Should be a good test for Kentucky

- The top four stay the same in the college football rankings. It will be interesting to see if Mississippi State can hold off Baylor and TCU.

Two Tennessee basketball assistants resign. This is due, apparently to the Southern Mississippi investigation. We’ll have to see if it reaches the top. I hope not, but we’ll just have to see.

Jim Beilein was displeased with ESPN’s late start time for the game with Villanova due to a football game. The wages of selling your soul to Barad-dûr, I guess.

"No, I don’t like to see any team struggle like that, I really don’t, Pitino said during a post-game conference. "We tried everything. I played four white guys and Egyptian."
WTF, Rick?

Beware the Razorbacks this season. They are dangerous.
