College football is in chaos. I have no idea what it all means, except the College Football Playoff guys are gonna have one heck of a time sorting it all out. Good. The first time for anything should be challenging.

Kentucky defensive end Lloyd Tubman has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested on a charge of rape:
The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder from Seneca High School in Louisville is charged in a sexual assault reported by a female student at 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
UK Police Chief Joe Monroe said his department was investigating the alleged rape, which was reported in a residence hall. He said it involved two students, but he declined to comment further.
Not much to say here. Obviously, if he is convicted, he’ll be the problem of the legal system, not the football team. However, I want to reiterate that legally, he is considered innocent until proven guilty. I think we should take that same viewpoint, but your mileage on that may vary. I can’t and won’t try to tell you what to believe or how to think.
As far as I can tell, Tubman has not played this season and is likely destined for a redshirt if his membership on the team survives this allegation
More: Ugh. It looks like a “he-said, she-said.” Those are the worst. Hopefully, forensic evidence will shed more light on the matter.

What’s wrong with LSU? I don’t know, they just aren’t very good this season? It happens, you know.
But honestly, I think LSU is refusing to scheme the option attack and trying to rely on their defensive front and linebackers. They have to realize that when you are 7 on 5, no way the defense wins that. Safeties can’t hang back in center field with an attack like that.
