The Kentucky Wildcats football program played their annual Blue-White Spring Game this past Saturday.
As good as it was to see this Kentucky team on the field for the first time this spring, it was also a good time on the recruiting trail. Four-star wide receiver prospect Kalil Branham was in Lexington to enjoy the game and, in fact, re-opened his recruitment the day after the game.
Before Saturday, Branham was committed to the Michigan Wolverines, but he apparently enjoyed what he saw and heard from the Kentucky coaching staff enough to decommit and potentially commit to giving Kentucky his services as a college player.
Branham is a 6-1 receiver from Columbus, Ohio and ranks as the No. 266 player overall and the 64th-ranked receiver in the 2020 class. Football recruiting is always open until the player signs their letter of intent, but Branham seems to be impressed by what UK football is building in Lexington.
In fact, UK has gotten several picks for Branham in his 247 crystal ball. Perhaps UK is on the verge of picking up this big-time talent.
Here are some highlights to get you ready for some of what you might see on Kroger Field in the future:
