Will Lewis score an offer during the visit?

Four-star point guard Kira Lewis Jr. has confirmed that he will visit Kentucky this weekend, according to Kentucky Sports Radio.

Lewis, who has been one of the top performers of the spring AAU circuit, is the No. 99 player in the class of 2019, and the No. 10 point guard on 247 Sports’ rankings. He stands at 6-3, 160 lbs. with De’Aaron Fox-like speed and quickness.

Lewis’ visit will remain scheduled after he didn’t make the cut on the USA Basketball U18 team coached by Bill Self. That team will be in Canada competing for a gold medal in FIBA competition this weekend.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the staff and seeing their campus,” Lewis Jr. said about his visit, according to KSR. “They haven’t mentioned anything about an offer.”

Lewis and his mother have previously expressed their admiration of John Calipari’s program. He already has 30 offers, including from the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Kansas Jayhawks, the Auburn Tigers, the Georgia Bulldogs, the LSU Tigers, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, the Tennessee Volunteers, the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Louisville Cardinals.

Lewis is a Hazel Green, Alabama, native, and Alabama is currently the favorite in his crystal ball.

It is worth noting that Lewis is labeled a shooting guard by Rivals and ESPN, while 247 has him as a point guard.
