Aidan Igiehon doesn’t have an offer from Kentucky, but another Commonwealth school is making a big splash in his recruitment.

National recruiting expert Evan Daniels has just logged a prediction for the Louisville Cardinals in Igiehon’s crystal ball.

Daniels is the first to pick Louisville, as the other three experts who have made a prediction have picked St. John’s, though another expert has also picked Louisville since Daniels’ pick.

Igiehon described Louisville as “up there” on his list, according to Jody Demling of the Cardinal Authority.

“It’s Chris Mack and coach (Luke) Murray at Louisville,” Igiehon said, according to the Cardinal Authority. “They have been recruiting me since Xavier and they told me they didn’t think they had a chance to get me there. They were off and on but as soon as they got to Louisville they have treated me as a priority. I know they are a [great] coaching staff and I am excited to see what they have to say (on a visit).”

Igiehon also complimented Mack on his ability to make the Xavier Musketeers a top-10 team and then rise up and take the Louisville job.

Igiehon is the No. 23 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 7 center, according to 247 Sports. He stands 6-10, 215 lbs. He released his top 10 list Tuesday, of which Kentucky made the cut despite not having offered him a scholarship yet.
