Ware has had an outstanding career with UK, racking up 157 tackles and 27 of those tackles being tackles for loss. Ware has also been able to rack up 13 sacks, while 6.5 of those sacks came during this season. Ware was also able to grab one interception and three fumble recoveries.
Ware has been outstanding at UK and has become a fan favorite during his three seasons with the Cats. The junior defensive end was suspended for the team’s Music City Bowl loss to Northwestern. It was due to a violation of teams rules, but no further details were ever revealed.
Ware is on track to graduate this spring with a degree in community and leadership development. It’s unclear where he’ll consider transferring to, but one has to think there will be some big-time programs calling him.
