Kentucky is now part of the ongoing FBI investigation into college basketball corruption.

Among those mentioned in the latest report is current freshman forward Kevin Knox. However, his issue appears to be very minimal, if even an issue at all. Knox reportedly had dinner with NBA agent Christian Dawkins, and it’s unclear if the meal was paid for by Knox or the agent.

If Knox paid for the meal, nothing is wrong. If the agent paid for the meal, Knox will need to repay the money at some point.

Now, Knox’s father, Kevin Knox Sr., is telling Kyle Tucker of SEC Country that this dinner meeting never happened. He also spoke about his son’s status for Saturday vs the Missouri Tigers, which should be good to go.

“As of right now, yeah, because those are just allegations.”

That’s good news, and if true, this shouldn’t be an issue at al going forward. Saying this, both Kentucky and the NCAA will continue to investigate this matter, but it doesn’t appear anything serious will come of this...for now.
