Kentucky’s rollercoaster year is on an up-and-up at the moment.
The Wildcats bounced back from four straight losses with back-to-back wins, beating the Alabama Crimson Tide at home and then getting a good road win against the Arkansas Razorbacks in Bud Walton Arena.
The current NCAA Tournament stock of the Cats is safe. Despite a brief scare amidst the four-game losing streak, they’re a tournament team. Maybe not a good one just yet, but still a tournament team.
With three games left on the schedule, UK will play the Missouri Tigers at home (18-10, 8-7 SEC), the Ole Miss Rebels at home (12-16, 5-10 SEC) and the Florida Gators on the road (17-11, 8-7 SEC).
How the Wildcats finish the regular season will be huge. There’s a massive logjam at the No. 3 spot in the conference, and where they end up when the dust settles on the regular season will be a big determinant in how they fare in the SEC Tournament, which in turn will of course affect their seeding and ultimately how they fare in the big dance.
So how will the Wildcats fare over these last three games? Do you think they win out, drop all three or fall somewhere in-between?
