James Young Might Visit for Big Blue Madness

Immediately following the Harrison twins' commitment to Kentucky, Ben Roberts of the Lexington Herald-Leader caught up with the Sean Mahone, godfather of five-star prospect James Young. According to Mahone, Young remains very interested in the Wildcats despite the commitment of 2-guard Aaron Harrison. In fact, Mahone hinted that Young may take an official visit to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness.

Young just visited Kentucky on an unofficial visit at the end of September, and a return visit bodes well in his recruitment. He has repeatedly said that he would not mind playing with other top players like the Harrisons or Andrew Wiggins, even if it meant taking on a sixth man role on a loaded Kentucky roster.

There is some debate as to whether Young would be a fall or spring commit. In the Roberts article, FOX Sports' Evan Daniels mentions that the recruitment may not last much longer, with Kentucky the presumed leader.
