I ran across this link that contains a printable bracket for the SEC Tourney and wanted to share. : ) I don’t know about anyone else, but I have a hard time remembering all the matchups and who won what game (besides us), etc., etc. and I definitely need a visual to help me out. Oh, and here is the link to the secsports.com page where I found the above bracket. GO ‘CATS! btw......there is no preview? -- so I hope the linking here works. : )
Well, this is very good news indeed, if he doesn't change his mind between now and then. We have all heard this before from players, but I am actually inclined to believe it from Patterson. There is also a news story here that reports the same thing. I must say that if this bears out, it casts Gillispie in a whole new light. Many have speculated that Patterson would leave because of the coach. At this precise moment, that appears to be demonstrably untrue.
The first step for the Kentucky Wildcats making a run to the SEC Tournament Championship and continuing their NCAA appearance streak begins with a rematch against an Ole Miss team that beat UK in their only meeting of the season. The Wildcats big letdown in the loss was a 38 percent shooting night, rebounding, and defense. Ole Miss had four starters in double figures. Kentucky lost their last four and five of their last six while the Rebels lost three of their last four.
Tom Leach talks to Andy Kennedy about David Huertas' availability for tomorrow's game.
This site ranks college's top 100 players based on: - performance/ability - skill/talent - pro potential - impact/value too team An interesting aspect is to see where the players rank as opposed to where they had them ranked in November and January.
Sorry if this has been posted or linked before. The highlight for me is this nugget from Alshon Jeffrey talking about how some coaches never give up their pursuit of recruits. Hard to tell if he was kidding or not but Kiffin has used up his good will cache so I take it as a negative comment. "Kiffin was equally dogged. But when it was obvious that Jeffrey wasn't going to Tennessee, Kiffin took off the gloves. According to Jeffrey and Wilson, Kiffin told Jeffrey that if he chose the Gamecocks, he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina."
Regardless of the team's struggles right now, let's give some congratulations to two very deserving young men.
Intriguing that Vols -- a team that Cats handled easily twice is favored.
