The Kentucky Wildcats have scored a JUCO commit in the Class of 2019.
It comes in the form of Marquez Bembry, who announced his decision on Twitter:
Blessed to say I’m committed to The University of Kentucky #BBN @UKCoachStoops @CoachWhiteFB @coachclink @CoachMHouse @UKFootball pic.twitter.com/69nBM2dxer

Originally a three-star linebacker/defensive end prospect in the class of 2017, Bembry was committed to play for the Tennessee Volunteers before ending up in the JUCO ranks at Jones County Junior College.
A major knee injury suffered in high school helped lead to him beginning his career in JUCO, but now he hopes to get back into the SEC when it’s all said and done.
At 6-3 and 225 pounds, Bembry currently holds an offer from the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, Ole Miss Rebels and Colorado Buffaloes, but we should probably expect more offers to come as he inches closer to the JUCO national signing day.
This comes after a stretch of UK decommitments and other targets picking different schools, so this is exactly what Mark Stoops and his program needed.
