Kentucky recruiting 2020 big man Justice Ajogbor

The rising forward is drawing interest from Kentucky.

Kentucky is showing interest in 6-10 forward Justice Ajogbor, the 45th ranked player in the 2020 class.

According to The Athletic’s Andrew Slater, Ajogbor just picked up an offer from Pittsburgh and Jeff Capel, and also holds offers from UCONN, Auburn, and Maryland, among others.

Ajogbor is a Nigerian native, only having been in the U.S. for about three years. He plays at the Christ School in North Carolina, and is teammates with Jalen Lecque, a guard in 2019 that Kentucky has been recruiting.

Ajogbor has been on Kentucky’s radar for a while. He visited Lexington last fall, and Kentucky assistant Joel Justus visited Ajogbor and Lecque in January.

Standing at 6-10 with a 7-2 or 7-3 wingspan, Ajogbor has the physical makeup of a force down low, but it will be interesting to see how his skills develop over the next year. It’s unknown if he favors any particular school right now, so Kentucky certainly could be in the mix.
