Sacha Killeya-Jones is leaving UK, though it remains a mystery as to where he’ll end up next.
One thing is clear, and that is the former five-star recruit will have plenty of suitors. According to ESPN reporter Jeff Borzello, Sacha has set up visits with the North Carolina State Wolfpack, Pittsburgh Panthers and Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
The North Carolina Tar Heels also continue to maintain contact with the Chapel Hill native. He played high school basketball at Virginia Episcopal, so it’s easy to see why he’s showing interest in mostly ACC schools thus far.
The 6-10 forward enjoyed a solid finish to the 2017-18 season, which included a good showing at the 2018 SEC Tournament where he posted 16 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks over the three games.
For his career, he averaged, 3.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while shooting at a 58.5-percent clip. He appeared in 49 total games during his career. He grabbed a career-high nine rebounds in UK’s Champions Classic matchup with Kansas in the third game of the 2017-18 season.
