Tony Barbee appears to be trolling Auburn Tigers

Former Auburn coach Tony Barbee might be taking some joy in his former school being laid to waste by Clemson.

Tony Barbee might just be a tad salty over his time as head coach of the Auburn Tigers.

As you may recall, Barbee took over the basketball program at Auburn in 2010 after the Tigers hadn’t been to the NCAA Tournament since 2003. He wound up going 49-75 in four years before being fired, then was soon hired as an assistant at UK under John Calipari.

Well, Barbee took notice of his former school getting laid to waste by Clemson in the NCAA Tournament. During the second half with Auburn trailing by a whopping 40 points to Clemson, Barbee posted this Tweet, which we’re saving as a picture before it likely gets deleted:

Or, maybe Barbee is catching Brooklyn 99 on FOX. That’s always good for a few laughs.

Speaking of law enforcement, wonder what’s coming next for Auburn, Bruce Pearl and their FBI investigation. Perhaps Pearl is about to leave Auburn in worse shape than Barbee ever could have hoped to.
