Remember Adarius Lemons?

Back in the 2017 recruiting cycle, Lemons was someone Kentucky was strongly in the mix for. At one point, Lemons had even called Kentucky his No. 1 school, but the four-star running back ultimately committed to the Florida Gators, decommitted, then later recommitted before ultimately signing with then-head coach Jim McElwain.

Well, just one year later, Lemons doesn’t seem like he wants to keep playing for new head coach Dan Mullen, who just watched Florida lose to Kentucky for the first time in over three decades, not to mention the first loss to the Wildcats at home since the 1979 season.

Lemons wasn’t even born when Kentucky last beat Florida, and he’s taking it hard.

Just minutes after Lemons and Florida suffered a 27-16 loss to the Wildcats, Lemons hopped on Twitter to announce he was transferring.

In all of my years covering football, I’ve never seen something quite like this.

Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.
