Isaiah Stewart cuts Kentucky from list

The five-star center has trimmed his list, and Kentucky isn’t on it.

Five-star center Isaiah Stewart has cut his list to 10 schools, and Kentucky isn’t on it.

The 2019 five-star recruit, who is now ranked No. 8 nationally by 247, did not have an offer from Kentucky, and Cal hadn’t met with him yet. However, Stewart expressed interest in Kentucky, so it’s a tad surprising to see the Wildcats not even make his final list.

Of the 10 schools, the Duke Blue Devils are currently the favorite, garnering 82 percent of the predictions in Stewart’s crystal ball. The Texas Longhorns and Villanova Wildcats also have predictions.

Stewart has 41 offers, including offers from the Louisville Cardinals, the Indiana Hoosiers and Duke (all of which are teams on his list). He also has SEC offers from the Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers.

Stewart stands 6-8, 243 lbs, a well-sized big man at the college level. Watching his highlight tape (linked below) it’s pretty obvious that his sheer size advantage over everyone else on the floor makes it easy for him to get good position in the post, finish at the rim, grab rebounds and block shots. But he also has passing ability out of the post.
