John Calipari is feeling it right now, and for good reason.
On Monday, Calipari landed a commitment from E.J. Montgomery, the No. 6 overall player in 2018 via 247 Sports.
Then on Tuesday, Calipari scored a pledge from Ashton Hagans, the No. 6 recruit in 2019, though it’s very likely he reclassifies and joins the 2018 class.
That has Calipari an an extra swaggy mood, and it sounds like he’s not done adding to his roster for next season.
#BBN, have you enjoyed breakfast the last couple days? We like to be transparent at Kentucky, but let me say this: No one truly knows what we are doing until it’s done. Finished yet?

This comes on the same day there’s been scuttlebiutt that UK could land another 2019 recruit that reclassifies, as well as a potential graduate transfer.
That tweet seems to indicate another addition is coming, though it may come with another subtraction as well.
I wouldn’t expect UK to add another front court player unless someone on the current roster leaves. That being said I keep hearing UK is likely to add another front court player. So, things are far from finished.

The buzz for Wenyen Gabriel leaving for the NBA Draft is growing, and Hamidou Diallo is almost certainly leaving. Then there’s a chance PJ Washington or Jarred Vanderbilt could also leave for the NBA Draft.
So, UK could end up losing 2-3 more players, so it makes sense that they could be planning to add 1-2 more players for next season. Who those could be is anyone’s guess right now.
Judging by Cal’s tweet along with all of the buzz surrounding another potential addition, we should probably expect at least one more new player to join the roster for next season.
Oh, and Dillon Pulliam just announced he’s transferring, so maybe UK will add another walk-on this offseason.
With that said, who do you think could be added to the roster for next season?
