Ashton Hagans scores offer from Kentucky Wildcats

This comes after Ashton Hagans said getting an offer from UK “would be a blessing.”

It may be only a matter of time now before Ashton Hagans becomes a Wildcat.

On Thursday, Hagans scored that coveted offer from UK, according to 247 reporter Evan Daniels.

Hagans, who is ranked as high as No. 6 overall in the 2019 class, is strongly considering a move up into the Class of 2018. Not long after the five-star point guard decommitted from the Georgia Bulldogs, it was revealed that Hagans is reclassifying into the 2018 class, according to Daniels.

Hagans has shot that rumor down, but that was before an offer came from UK. The fact that John Calipari just offered him is probably a good indicator Hagans will move into 2018, where UK looks like the heavy favorite to land him.

This comes just two days after Hagans said getting an offer from UK “would be a blessing.”

UK leads Hagans’ 247 Crystal Ball after receiving five straight picks. We can probably expect more to come in very soon.

Also in the mix for Hagans are North Carolina, Louisville, Georgia and Kansas among many others. He put up 14.2 points, 5.4 boards and 8.3 assists per game in the Adidas Gauntlet this past summer.

Another big story here is this all but assures Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is gone to the NBA Draft. UK doesn’t offer Hagans right now if they think Shai could return to join the mix with Quade Green and Immanuel Quickley.
