Righthander Kyle Cody will return to UK next season after being drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 2nd round of the MLB draft. This is a HUGE boost for the Wildcats' rotation for next year.

Kentucky will be one of 8 schools to participate in the inaugural Tony Gwynn Classic next season. The other schools are San Diego, San Diego State, Bryant, UC Santa Barbara, Nebraska, Tulane, and Nevada. This is shaping up to be a marquee tournament to open the baseball season. It'll be a great opportunity for the Cats in their quest to return to the NCAA Tournament next year.
