Tennessee may have gotten the better of Kentucky in the first matchup, but the Wildcats left no doubt who the superior team was in Round 2.
Despite entering the game as 7.5-point underdogs, the Wildcats dismantled the Vols from start to finish en route to a 70-55 win that frankly was a bigger beatdown than the final score indicates.
In addition to the basketball team getting some sweet revenge, Kentucky’s social media team got some payback of their own.
As Kyle Tucker of The Athletic noted, Kentucky’s official men’s basketball Twitter account has been pulling off quite the troll job today

The best one was Tennessee suggesting it routinely beats Kentucky in a series the Wildcats lead 157-75. You don’t to say you routinely beat someone when they have 102 more victories in the series, while John Calipari is 18-13 vs. the Vols.
