The first batch of new rankings for Kentucky Basketball are out!

Week after week, the Kentucky Wildcats continue to show their fans that they’re serious about contending for a national championship this season.

Most recently, the Wildcats completed an 87-85 comeback victory at Florida on Saturday. They did so in an environment that did have some Kentucky fans but was still overwhelmingly hostile compared to the crowd Kentucky had been used to.

Saturday was the team’s first true road game, and despite facing adversity early on, the Wildcats came together and pulled off a very good win over the Gators.

While Kentucky was able to win their game, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be moving up in the Associated Press Top-25 rankings. Purdue (No. 1), Kansas (No. 2), Houston (No. 3), UConn (No. 4), and Tennessee (No. 5) all won their own matchups over the weekend and were already ranked ahead of Kentucky (No. 6).

This week the Wildcats will host Missouri on Tuesday night before traveling to Texas A&M for a matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Now, check back here later as we learn where Kentucky stands in the latest college basketball rankings! And let us know where you think the Cats should be ranked.
