Colorado OL transfer Jeremiah McCrimmon picks up an offer from Kentucky

The Cats have another o-lineman in their sights.

It is the final weekend for visits as the opening transfer window has now closed.

The Kentucky Wildcats have been active in the first transfer portal window, adding several high-profile players on both sides of the ball. As the last weekend of visits starts up, Mark Stoops and his staff are focusing on a few different position groups, including cornerbacks and the offensive line.

The names that will be familiar to the BBN at this point are UAB CB transfer BJ Mayes and Jacksonville State OL transfer Xavier Bausley, but now we can add another name that has visited UK and has now picked up an offer.

Colorado OL transfer Jeremiah McCrimmon took a visit to Lexington to end this week and announced that he has received an offer from the Cats this evening. He took to Twitter to announce the news.

McCrimmon, a 6-foot-6 and 310-pound O-lineman from Apex (NC), has also recently picked up offers from App State, Georgia State, and San Diego State. McCrimmon actually started his collegiate career at Mississippi State as a walk-on, before heading the junior college route, which eventually led him to play for the Buffaloes.

He did not see any game action for Colorado this last season, but is a player that can play both guard and tackle spots.

This offer seems to be one of trying to build depth across the front five. We saw the impact Dylan Ray had this past season, now could the Cats find another under-the-radar offensive lineman?

Guess we will just have to wait and see.
