The class of 2025 is already in full-swing recruiting mode, and the top player in Kentucky has already got tons of interest from the Cats.
On3 reported that Malachi Moreno has plans to make a visit to Lexington. Moreno has already taken an official visit to Iowa, and outside of the Kentucky Wildcats, he has other possible visits like Indiana, Arkansas, Baylor, and USC. When asked about Kentucky as a program, here’s what he had to say:
“The way they allow freshmen to come in and make an immediate impact. Reed Sheppard came from Kentucky and people didn’t think he was going to make as big of an impact as he has. But now he’s a projected top pick on draft boards. It goes to show that Coach (John) Calipari can develop players well and make them NBA players in a short amount of time.”
Seeing Reed Sheppard shine this year has been great, and it looks like it’s continuing to inspire more home-grown talent to lean towards Kentucky in recruitment.
“It is a big deal being from Kentucky and being recruited by Kentucky,” Malachi Moreno said. “But at the end of the day, it’s not like I’m definitely going to Kentucky. I’m open to every school and everyone who recruits me.”
With Travis Perry already committed for the ‘24 season, the Cats look to secure another Kentucky kid for ‘25.

This, instead of recognition and apology, is interesting...
Hard to believe that Bowl season is over and only one CFB game remains.
The 12-team Playoff will solve a lot of issues.
What a year it’s been for Jets fans.
