Good morning BBN!

It’s gameday as the Kentucky Wildcats head to College Station for a date with the Texas A&M Aggies this afternoon.

Entering play, the Cats sit at 12-2 overall and 2-0 in SEC play on the season and are considered one of the most exciting teams in college basketball.

Today’s matchup does bring some lofty expectations, however. With the losses by other top-five teams throughout the week, a win would likely propel the Cats into a top-three ranking.

Sounds awesome, right?

There will be some things working against the Cats in today’s matchup, including facing an Aggies team that plays the exact opposite style of this team and has one of the best guards in America in Wade Taylor IV. Whichever style wins out will likely be the team that comes away with the victory. Not to mention A&M will be fighting like crazy to avoid an 0-3 start in SEC play.

And as mentioned above, it’s been an upset-filled week already, especially for ranked road teams at unranked teams, so that’s a trend Kentucky will be looking to buck today.

Should be a fight in College Station.

The game is scheduled for a 2 pm ET tip-off on ESPN.

Go Cats!
