The Kentucky Wildcats are losing both of the Wade bros.

According to On3, outside linebacker Keaten Wade is entering the transfer portal. This news broke about an hour after word came down that Destin Wade was going to the portal, so one would think they’re looking to be a package deal.

Like his brother, Keaten was a 4-star recruit in the class of 2022. As a true freshman, the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder recorded 16 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 2.5 tackles for loss while playing in all 13 games.

This season, Wade had 35 tackles, one sack, and three tackles for loss while appearing in all 12 contests.

This is easily Kentucky’s biggest loss to the transfer portal thus far, as Keaten was an important player in this defense who was primed for an even bigger role in 2024.

Alas, that’s how the package deals work, especially when it’s brothers.

Best of luck to them as they look for a new home.
