The Wade twins have found their new school.

On Friday, Destin Wade and Keaten Wade announced their commitment to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.

The twins recently left the Kentucky Wildcats to enter the NCAA transfer portal, and it didn’t take long to find their next home.

Originally a class of 2022 recruit, Destin was a 4-star recruit ranked 418th nationally by 247 Sports Composite. The Tennessee native was considered a top-25 athlete prospect, though he opted to play quarterback at Kentucky.

Destin would only appear in one game as a Wildcat, which ended up being the 2023 Music City Bowl vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes after Will Levis opted out of the game. The 6-foot-3, 223-pounder completed 16/30 passes (53.3%) for 98 yards and two pick-sixes in the 21-0 defeat. He also ran the ball 17 times for 23 yards.

As for his brother Keaten, he too was a 4-star recruit in the 2022 class. As a true freshman, the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder recorded 16 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 2.5 tackles for loss while appearing in all 13 games.

This season, Keaten had 35 tackles, one sack, and three tackles for loss while appearing in all 12 contests.

Best of luck in Boulder!
