We have our second Kentucky Wildcats transfer of the day.

Not long after JuTahn McClain announced he was entering the transfer portal, news broke that linebacker Luke Fulton was also transferring.

Cats Pause’s Aaron Gershon broke the news first, adding that Fulton has one year of eligibility remaining at his next school.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder was a 4-star linebacker coming out of high school in 2019, ranked as the No. 20 inside linebacker in the country via 247 Sports. He’s a native of Youngstown (OH) and played at Cardinal Mooney, where Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow also played.

Kentucky recruited Fulton and offered him a scholarship before he chose Michigan State. However, Fulton entered the portal following the 2020 season and landed at Kentucky.

In three seasons with the Wildcats, Fulton recorded two tackles and one pass deflection. This season, he only appeared in one game, the blowout win over Akron, making one tackle.

Good luck to Fulton as he searches for a new home!
