Two more Kentucky Wildcats are entering the transfer porta.
On Monday, it was safety Jalen Geiger who opted to enter the portal.
And on Tuesday, wide receiver Dekel Crowdus and defensive lineman Jamarius Dinkins announced their intentions to go portaling.
Crowdus is a Kentucky native who played at nearby Frederick Douglass. The 5-foot-10, 171-pound wideout was a class of 2021 recruit who missed most of his first year due to injury and ended up redshirting.
Crowdus finishes his UK career with four catches for 82 yards, all coming in 2022. His most notable play was a 50-yard reception in the 27-17 upset win over No. 16 Mississippi State that year.
Dinkins was also a class of 2021 recruit who came from Walnut Ridge High School in Columbus (OH). The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder redshirted his first year, then appeared in nine games in 2022 with nine tackles, a sack, and a tackle for loss.
This season, Dinkins appeared in 11 games, recording nine tackles and one tackle for loss.
Best of luck to these guys as they look to find new homes!
