Mark Stoops will remain the head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats after considering an offer to join Texas A&M.

After a crazy Saturday, I don’t know if many in the BBN would believe that statement come Monday night. After the whirlwind that ensued and the dust settled, Stoops stopped all the rumors around midnight with the tweet that shut it all down.

During his radio show on Monday night, Stoops obviously had to speak about the whole situation briefly with Tom Leach by his side. One Statement should stick out to the BBN:

“I’m right where I want to be,” said Stoops.

Here are his full comments on the matter below.

With the work week getting back and started, there have been numerous reports of what went down this Saturday night. No matter which side you choose to believe, one thing still remains true: Keeping Mark Stoops was the right thing for Kentucky.

Now, as the Cats embark on the new-look SEC, they will do it with the second-longest tenured coach in the conference and a staff that has shown they can recruit with the big boys of the sport.

Going to be fun offseason, folks. Buckle up!
