Twitter reactions to Kentucky (potentially) losing Mark Stoops

What a day for Kentucky Football. The Louisville Cardinals would certainly be happy to see Mark Stoops leave.

Do we have a plot twist in play?!

This Saturday has been a wild day for the Kentucky Wildcats and the BBN.

After celebrating a huge win over the No. 10 Louisville Cardinals early this afternoon, Mitch Barnhart now reportedly must turn his attention to a head-coaching search.

It was reported early on Saturday that Mark Stoops had emerged as a serious candidate to be the next head coach for the Texas A&M Aggies, following up his former boss Jimbo Fisher in College Station.

A report from Mark Passwaters of the A&M Rivals site and 247 Sports all but confirmed the news on Saturday night.

With all of this happening so fast, I’m sure the thoughts of the BBN are going to be mixed. Yes, Stoops has struggled the last few seasons, but he has also elevated this program to new heights, including two 10-win seasons during his time in Lexington.

Stoops will go down as the best head coach in program history as he departs for College Station.

Now, all eyes will turn to who will replace him on the sidelines next season. But before that, let’s take a look at how Twitter reacted to the news tonight:

We also have what appear to be a couple of player reactions to the Mark Stoops news.

And we had to include one last Louisville tweet.

Stoops >>> Cards.
