Another day, another major achievement for Kentucky Wildcats legend Oscar Tshiebwe.
On Wednesday, Tshiebwe posted another 20-plus rebound game in the NBA G-League. This time, he went for 28 boards and 20 points for the Indiana Mad Ants, a franchise record for rebounds in a game.
While it is unknown if Big O will get a chance to play for the Indiana Pacers, he did just get a great endorsement from one of the game’s rising superstars.
The Pacers’ best player, Tyrese Haliburton, who has had a terrific season so far this year, has noticed the tremendous play of the former Wildcats standout, calling him the best rebounder alive!

Tshiebwe had one of the best college resumes in the history of Kentucky Basketball. He was the 2021-22 AP Player of the Year, the Wooden Award winner, and the Naismith Award winner. Those are just a few of his many accomplishments.
Tshiebwe transferred to Kentucky from West Virginia for the 2021-22 season, spending two seasons with the Mountaineers before breaking records for two years in Lexington.
At Kentucky, Tshiebwe grabbed 15.1 rebounds per game as a junior and 13.7 rebounds per game as a senior. While he stands just 6-foot-8, Tshiebwe’s instincts are among the best in the game, and it wouldn’t be shocking if he got that call-up to the Pacers in the near future.
