Updated bowl projections for Kentucky Football

One spot is becoming most likely for the Cats.

Deone Walker Dylan Ballard - A Sea Of Blue

The end of the Kentucky Wildcats regular season is finally here, as the Cats prepare for the Governor’s Cup Battle against the Louisville Cardinals this Saturday.

Overall, though, this season has been one to forget for the Kentucky Football program. After a quick 5-0 start, the Cats are now just 1-5 in their last six games, losing most of them due to rough appearances on both offense and defense.

That is now starting to show itself in their college football bowl projections. Sitting at 6-5 on the season, things are lining up for Kentucky to play their postseason game on that third tier of the bowl levels. But there is some hope if they can knock off the top-10 Cardinals this coming weekend.

A win could potentially change some of the bowl outlooks and send the Cats to a more appealing location. But mostly, it will help build the morale as Kentucky heads into a very important offseason.

With matchups projected against Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and others, it appears Kentucky might face off with a familiar bowl opponent. Luckily, it won’t be the Iowa Hawkeyes for a third straight year.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the projected landing spots for Kentucky heading into Week 13.
