The Sacramento Kings landed themselves a stud when they took De’Aaron Fox with the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Fox continues to evolve his game and sits atop the NBA in points per game. He is averaging 32.2 points per game in 36.8 minutes per game.

He claimed the title after erupting for 43 points against the Spurs on Friday. In 41 minutes, he totaled 43 points on 14-of-24 shooting, adding eight rebounds and seven assists. Here’s a breakdown of the current top five.

However, Fox has played in just six games, having missed a few earlier in the season, but it’s still a very impressive feat at this point in the season.

Fox is in his seventh season in the NBA and is averaging many career highs through six games. The 25-year-old earned his first All-Star appearance last season and is looking like a strong contender to get his second.

Having never averaged more than two threes per game, Fox is averaging 3.2 threes per game and shooting a career-best 38% from deep. That’s what has really helped Fox elevate his game this season.

Fox is also shooting a career-best 58.1% from two-point range. He’s a star and has continued to blossom into one of the best guards in the NBA.
