UPDATE

According to KSR’s Nick Roush, Barion Brown will be on an official visit with the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend as they take on the 10th-ranked Florida Gators at Kroger Field. Brown was originally scheduled to visit Kentucky for the Week 2 clash with the Missouri Tigers, but it was ultimately postponed.

The Alabama Crimson Tide still hold every prediction for Brown at 247 Sports and Rivals.

The Kentucky Wildcats will be hosting 5-star wide receiver Barion Brown for a visit on Saturday against Missouri, according to Kentucky Sports Radio.

On3 has Brown ranked as the No. 14 overall player and No. 2 wide receiver in 2022 (their top 20 players are 5-star recruits). Rivals has the Nashville (TN) product ranked No. 53 overall and No. 7 among receivers.

The 6-foot-1, 173-pound Brown has taken three visits, one being to Alabama and two to Ole Miss with Alabama being seen as the favorite to land Brown as of now.

One has to think that the new style of play under new offensive coordinator Liam Coen that was put on display last Saturday, has to do with Brown opting to visit Kentucky.

Against ULM, Kentucky had two receivers go for over 100 yards in the same game for the first time since 2011.

Quarterback Will Levis threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns, with multiple passes going for 50+ yards through the air, more than the previous three seasons combined.

Liam Coen is already paying dividends on the recruiting trail. And while Kentucky has a ways to go in this recruitment, just getting a player the caliber of Brown on campus
