Who wins Kentucky vs. Florida?

Let us know who you think is getting the victory Saturday night!

After a hard-fought defensive battle, the Kentucky wildcats rose victorious over the South Carolina Gamecocks by a score of 16-10, improving to 4-0 on the season.

Now, the Wildcats head back home to take on one of their biggest rivals; the Florida Gators.

Every year, this game seems like it has a little more juice to it, with this year being no different.

The all-time series is lopsided in Florida’s favor, but over the last seven seasons Kentucky has managed to put up a respectable fight against the Gators and even pick up a win in Gainesville during the 2018 season.

This year should be another close affair that takes four quarters to decide. While Kentucky comes in with a better record at 4-0 with Florida 3-1, the records don’t tell the whole story.

Kentucky has struggled against lesser competition like Chattanooga and South Carolina, squeaking out victories in both. On top of that, the Cats’ turnover struggles has been a huge issue this season, seeing 9 of them in just four games.

Florida, on the other hand, has been more consistent, and their one loss came to top-ranked Alabama as a result of a failed 2-point conversion that could’ve sent the game into overtime.

If the Cats are going to hold their own in this game there’s one constant that has to ring true; take care of the ball. Their defense will keep them in this game but if UK turns the ball over like we’ve seen they will not stand a chance.
