Today, a grand jury dismissed all burglary charges that the six Kentucky football players were facing, according to Josh Moore of the Lexington-Herald Leader.
Those players are offensive lineman Reuben “RJ” Adams, running back Robert “Jutahn” McClain, defensive back Andru Phillips, receiver Earnest Sanders, defensive back DeVito “Vito” Tisdale, and defensive back Joel Williams.
Tisdale had also been charged with wanton endangerment for allegedly brandishing a gun. However, the grand jury dismissed that charge.
This comes following Monday’s report that all six players had returned to practice ahead of the Kentucky Wildcats’ Week 5 matchup with the No. 10 Florida Gators at Kroger Field. Because said players are just now returning to practice, we shouldn’t expect to see them play for a few weeks as they get back into game shape.
The school has not yet released a statement on today’s news.
