Mike Edwards continues to get recognition following a standout performance on Sunday.
Edwards was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after intercepting two passes that he returned for touchdowns on Sunday against the Falcons. Edwards also recorded three passes defensed in the contest.
According to the Buccaneers, Edwards is the first player with two pick-sixes in a single game since 2012.
Edwards played 54 percent of the snaps on Sunday, but when he was on the field, made his presence known.
Hopefully that performance leads to some more playing time for the former Cat.
