Taylor Bol Bowen is a name that Kentucky Wildcats fans might start hearing more and more as the Class of 2023 recruiting heats up.
Bowen ranks as a 5-star recruit by 247 Sports and 4-star by Rivals. He’s a 6-foot-7 small forward out of Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, a place that Kentucky and John Calipari have recruited well over recent memory.
Bowen spoke about Kentucky recently in an interview with Jamie Shaw of Rivals:
“Kentucky is a great school that produces a lot of NBA talent. Coach Chin (Coleman) is recruiting me, and they want me to come in and compete.”
The Kentucky Wildcats are one of the three schools he is hearing from most, along with Arkansas and UConn.
Bowen has recently burst on the scene, going from unranked from the beginning of the year until June, where he entered the rankings at No. 26, but has fallen only slightly to No. 29.
Bowen does have 18 offers, including one from Arkansas, but a Kentucky offer is not confirmed.
