After missing on Dereck Lively, Kentucky head coach John Calipari and his staff are shifting their main focus to fellow star recruit Adem Bona. Thankfully for Kentucky, the Wildcats have been interested in Bona before the Lively decision came. In fact, Calipari paid a visit to Bona this past weekend out in California.
In a perfect world, Kentucky would have landed both of the 2022 prospects... Because why not add to what is likely to be an all-time recruiting class? But unfortunately, Lively had other plans and decided to take his talents to the Duke Blue Devils.
Now Bona, should he commit to Kentucky, has the chance to shine at the center position with much less competition for playing time. If anything, Kentucky is now a more intriguing option for Bona.
The country’s No. 19 prospect stands 6’9 and weighs in at 225 pounds. While there are several schools out west with history and current excellence (Baylor, Kansas & UCLA), none can offer the level of talent that Kentucky could place around Bona.
What is your prediction for Adem Bona? Will he land in Lexington, or stay out west?

Aaron Jones, for the second consecutive year, puts up four touchdowns in one game.
Wildcats need a statement win this weekend.
Feel bad for Jones... but why wear that in a game?
This... This is it.
They beat the... Lions.
The next generation is a thrill to watch.
Agree with this 100%.
Incase you missed this over the weekend...
Why does everyone take it out on Jason Garrett?
