Chris Livingston transfers to Oak Hill; gets prediction to Kentucky

Can Kentucky nab arguably the top forward in the Class of 2022?

Top-10 overall Class of 2022 prospect Chris Livingston, along with his brother, have made the transfer to Oak Hill Academy for the upcoming high school season, according to Jacob Polacheck.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound native of Ohio previously played at Buchtel High School. He’s ranked No. 5 overall and No. 1 among small forwards in 2022 via 247 Sports Composite.

Livingston recently announced his final four schools; Kentucky, Memphis, Georgetown, and Tennessee State. The consensus has been that Memphis is where Livingston is leaning, with Georgetown being right in the thick of things as well.

However, Travis Graf of Rivals has switched his FutureCast prediction from Memphis to Kentucky on Thursday night. Graf is one of the best in the recruiting business and doesn’t normally make a prediction without some sort of intel.

Graf recently stated on his Kat Scan Podcast that Memphis would be his prediction of where Livingston goes. That particular episode was released on Wednesday.

There’s also a family connection Kentucky has working in its favor, as Livingston’s aunt, Lisa, ran track at the school in the 90s and still lives in Lexington.

If Kentucky were to land Livingston, it would be a welcomed surprise for a recruiting class that is looking like it is starting to take some shape.

No. 1 overall prospect Shaedon Sharpe announces his decision on Sept. 7, and Kentucky is in prime position with guard Cason Wallace as well. Skyy Clark is currently the Wildcats’ lone pledge, but expect that to change very soon.
