The Kentucky Wildcats NARROWLY escape a monumental upset by Chattanooga.
The Kentucky line, by offensive and defensive, really seemed to be getting dominated all game long, with Kentucky being out-rushed by the Mocs, which hasn’t happened much, if not at all, during the Stoops era.
The offensive line struggled to open up holes for Rodriguez and Levis was forced to make some moves to get out of the pocket or take sacks. It was arguably the worst performance by the Big Blue Wall in many years.
The defensive line got virtually no pressure on Chattanooga, leading to more dink-and-dunk passes resembling last week against Missouri. They were fortunate enough to force pressure and forced an errant throw leading to a pick-six by Tyrell Ajian.
The Chattanooga offense drove down the field late in the game with a little over a minute left in the game, chewing six minutes off the clock, punching in a touchdown to bring the Mocs within five.
Hopefully this game was a wake-up call for Mark Stoops’ squad as they head to Columbia next Saturday for their first true-road game of the season under the lights.
The offense and defense will need to fine-tune themselves and quick, or else South Carolina could be a game that Kentucky gets embarrassed in.

Really an awful performance by Kentucky and they're entirely fortunate to survive. But looks like they just came in with the wrong mindset and Chattanooga played like it was their Super Bowl.

Kentucky found a way to survive. 3-0 heading to South Carolina next week. A lot to clean up before they jump back into SEC play.

Your University of Kentucky Wildcats tackle football team has defeated the Chattanooga Choo Choos and remain undefeated. They continue to control their national championship destiny.

One of the only nice things about being a Kentucky football fan is that you are always prepared for something like this.

Watching a Kentucky football game at a Penn State campus bar on your phone while Will Levis struggled was a very interesting experience. Nittany Lion fans are all over the board when it comes to their former QB.

Mark Stoops chose his words wisely when asked about Will Levis’ decision making today. Ultimately he settled on “He’ll be better.”
