Shaedon Sharpe is now the consensus #1 prospect in the 2022 class.

The 6-foot-5 Kentucky Wildcats commitment is now the leader of the pack in the 2022 class in all four major recruiting services including ESPN, 247 Sports, Rivals, and On3.

Sharpe held the top spot in all but 247 Sports but moved up five spots from #6 to #1 in the latest 247 rankings.

As Sharpe rose up the rankings in the other services, it seemed like a matter of time before he moved to the top of the 247 Sports rankings.

Here is what 247’s Eric Bossi had to say about Sharpe earlier this week.

A product of Canada, Sharpe is an explosive athlete with a nose for the rim. He loves to catch, face and is tough to stop because of an electric first step and his ability to get downhill, into the lane and then finish around the rim. Over the last year, Sharpe has improved tremendously as a ball handler, pull-up jump shooter and shot maker from beyond the three point line. The improved ball handling has allowed him to be much more creative as a scorer and playmaker for others. Sharpe has long arms, moves well laterally and has all of the tools to develop into a player who is just as disruptive on the defensive end of the floor as he is on offense.

Fellow Kentucky commitment Skyy Clark comes in at #18 in the new 247 rankings.

Here's how some other Kentucky targets were ranked in 247’s new rankings.

Dereck Lively - #2

Chris Livingston - #5

Cason Wallace - #7

Adem Bona - #10
