C.J. Conrad joins Bleav in Kentucky to preview Missouri

Conrad knows a thing or two about beating Mizzou.

Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

We’ve got an extra episode of Bleav in Kentucky this week that you won’t want to miss.

With Saturday’s big game between the Kentucky Wildcats and Missouri on deck, what better guest to have on than C.J. Conrad, who never lost to the Tigers during his four-year career in Lexington.

That included some memorable battles with the Tigers, none more so than the 2018 thriller that saw him catch the game-winner in Columbia.

Conrad was also part of the 2015 Kentucky team that beat a ranked Missouri team at Kroger Field (he caught the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter), marking the first top-25 win of the Mark Stoops era. The Ohio native is now a grad assistant on Kentucky’s staff.

On the show, Conrad and Vinny Hardy discussed:

  • That walk-off score vs. Mizzou.
  • Conrad’s other favorite moments at Kentucky.
  • Making a big impact as a blocker.
  • Saturday’s huge SEC East clash.
  • Becoming a grad assistant.
  • And more!
