Plus NIL, G-League, and the Overtime Elite league. https://t.co/9khX5yyZn0
Here’s what Livingston had to say in regards to Kentucky remaining on his list of four choices.
“The history, and the formula of how the make pros…development,” Livingston said. “Coach (John) Calipari has a fiery coaching style and believes in his players. He has a special connection with his players while they’re there, you know not just being a coach but being a mentor at the same time. The history, culture, fan base…all of that plays into what makes Kentucky.”
While we’ve seen more top prospects take the G-League route over the last couple of years, the new NIL rule gives just as much incentive (if not more) to take the collegiate route and play on college basketball’s biggest platforms. Livingston also mentions in the story that the G-League is “just a second option.”
What’s your prediction for Livingston? Will he make it to Lexington, play for another school or ultimately find himself in the G-League?
